The Helios Jazz Orchestra is a 21-member modern big band (with two vocalists) directed by David Manson.  Repertoire ranges from Latin to Swing to Bebop and beyond.  The group (formed in late 2008) has been featured in the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, WMNF Jazz Jam (backing Kevin Mahogany), SPC Jazz Festival and the Sarasota Big Band Bash.
